This was a sympathetic restoration of a country farmhouse with origins dating back to Elizabeth 1st. We used our own custom made super discreet micro downlights which were used only in areas to accent architectural details. Elsewhere we relied on conventional decorative fittings or cleverly disguised extra warm linear profiles to introduce subtle lighting. The contemporary barrel vaulted extension uses recessed linear track to allow gallery grade lighting to light artwork & furnishings.
An Elizabethan coat of arms was discovered above the master bedroom fireplace. We used our micro downlights here to wash light over the surface using UV free high CRI LED light engines.
